Chelsio releases industry’s first Microsoft-Certified Network Direct Driver for Windows Server 2008



Sunnyvale, CA – January 12, 2009 – Chelsio Communications, Inc., the leading provider of 10-Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) adapters adn ASIC solutions, today announced it has released the industry’s first logo-certified (WHQL) driver for MicrosoftВ® NetworkDirect, enabling very low MPI latency for high performance computing (HPC) environments running Windows Server 2008. Additionally, Chelsio announces a roadmap target to deliver two microsecond MPI latency for its NetworkDirect driver in the next 12 months. Microsoft NetworkDirect is the new low latency RDMA network API that is part of Windows HPC Server 2008.
