Kianoosh Naghshineh
Chief Executive Officer and President
Kianoosh Naghshineh brings more than 20 years of engineering and management experience in systems and networking to his role as CEO and president of Chelsio Communications. Before founding Chelsio, Kianoosh was CEO and president of ASIC Designers Inc., an intellectual property firm providing silicon cores for communications-systems markets. Prior to that, Kianoosh was one of the primary architects of the Origin supercomputer at Silicon Graphics. Prior to SGI, Kianoosh held a variety of product engineering and analog and digital circuit design positions in fiber distributed data interface (FDDI) networking design (bipolar/CMOS) at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). Kianoosh holds a BSEE from Cornell University and an MSEE from Stanford University. He also holds more than 10 patents in analog and digital circuit design, computer architecture, networking and host interfaces.


Dr.Ásgeir Eiriksson
Chief Technology Officer
Ásgeir joined Chelsio from Silicon Graphics, where he was responsible for protocol design, ASIC chip design and implementation, and formal design methodology. A member of Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the IEEE, Ásgeir holds a PhD and MSEE in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota. He also won the prestigious Best Paper award at the 1998 Formal Methods in Computer Aided Design for his work on “The Formal Design of 1M-gate ASICs.”  He holds 15 patents in computer architecture, computer aided design methods, networking and host interfaces.


Mehdi Mohtashemi
Vice President, Engineering
Mehdi has more than 25 years of engineering and management experience in Software and Hardware systems development. He came to Chelsio from SanDisk where he joined through acquisition of FusionIO, managing shared-storage enterprise software solutions. Previously he served as director of verification at Synopsys. He also served as senior director of engineering at Mylex and held management positions at Sun Microsystems, in networking and multi-processor server products as well as Western Digital(WD) and Advanced Micro Devices(AMD). Mehdi holds an MS and BS degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Stanford University and UC Berkeley respectively.


Kun Taek Yim
Vice President, Operations
Kun brings more than 20 years experience in manufacturing and operations to Chelsio. He served as vice president of operations for the Storage Business at Applied Micro Circuits Corp. (AMCC), and before that at 3ware, Inc., a storage subsystems company, where he built the operations group from its beginning through the company’s acquisition by AMCC. Kun previously served in operations, manufacturing and customer-service roles at Evans & Sutherland, Truevision, Sigma Designs, Radius, and Sun Microsystems.


William Delaney
Chief Financial Officer
William brings expertise in finance to Chelsio Communications Inc., that’s based on over 25 years of financial experience. Most recently, he served as CFO at Accelops a Software security company, and prior to Accelops he was CFO at Consentry Networks and MediaQ, which was acquired by nVidia. He was previously vice president of finance at Incyte Pharmaceuticals, and before that he worked with several top Bay Area technology companies, including Stratacom/Cisco as operations controller, Chiron as assistant corporate controller, and LSI Logic as director of worldwide operations for finance. William holds a BS in accounting and finance from University of Limerick, Ireland.


Danny Gur
Vice President, Worldwide Sales
Danny Gur brings more than 20 years of sales management to his role as VP of worldwide sales of Chelsio Communications. Before joining Chelsio, Danny was Executive Sales and Business Development Director of Mellanox Technologies, for Infiniband and Ethernet solutions for HPC and Cloud computing and storage infrastructure. Prior to that, Danny was VP of worldwide sales of Bay Microsystems. Prior to Bay Microsystems, Danny held a variety of executive sales and business development positions in Terachip, Metalink, M-Systems/ Sandisk and Opal/ Applied Materials. Danny holds a BSC in Mathematics and Computer Sciences from Tel Aviv University.
