SGI Selects chelsio’s High Performance 10GB ETHERNET Adapters
Chelsio Offers Industry-Leading Throughput for SGI Altix Server and Cluster Platforms
SUNNYVALE, CA – April 28, 2008 – Chelsio Communications, Inc., the leading provider of 10-Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) adapters and ASIC solutions, today announced the availability of its high performance 10GbE adapter cards for server, cluster and storage platforms from SGI (Nasdaq: SGIC).
SGI customers have very demanding performance requirements for a wide range of throughput-intensive HPC applications, said Kianoosh Naghshineh, president and CEO of Chelsio. Chelsio is delivering the industry’s best 10Gb Ethernet iWARP adapters for the SGI Altix servers and clusters.
